Product overview

Polyaluminum chloride is abbreviated as PAC. This product is used for water purification to ensure that the safety of drinking water. Similar to all other coagulants, it mainly gathers all the dissolved substances in the water, then suspends them, filters and processes the resulting substances.

It is mainly used as a flocculant for treating domestic drinking water, production water and industrial wastewater (including oily wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, papermaking wastewater, steel mill wastewater, etc.), as well as handling the highly toxic heavy metals and fluorine-containing wastewater; It is also widely applied in precision casting and leather making.

Characteristics: This product is suitable for treating high and medium turbidity source waters, especially for effectively purifying the high turbidity water. It forms fast, large alum floc, and is easy to settle. The suitable source water has an intensive pH range with low corrosiveness and low labor intensity.

Performance characteristics

What fundamentally distinguishes from traditional inorganic coagulants is that traditional inorganic coagulants are low-molecular crystalline salts, while the composition of polyaluminum chloride is made up of multi-element carboxyl complexes with various shapes, which has fast flocculation and precipitation speed and an intensive pH values. It is non-corrosive to pipeline equipment, is effective in water purification, and can effectively remove the color quality SS, COD, BOD, arsenic, mercury and other heavy metal ions in the water.

Usage tips

Polyaluminum chloride dilution method of use:

To maximize the flocculant effects and economic benefits, users can, in accordance with the different source water turbidity, different seasons and different reaction conditions, determine the optimal dosage per thousand tons of water through experiments. The product shall be mixed with 3%-5% water solution (calculated as per the weight of the product)

1.     Dissolve the solid product with liquid in a ratio of 1:3 to a liquid, then add 10-30 times of the clean water to dilute it to the required concentration before use.

2.     The dosage can be determined pursuant to turbidity of the raw water to determine the best dosage. Generally, when the turbidity of the raw water reaches 100-500mg/L, the dosage per thousand tons is 10-20kg.

Packing and storage

·       It shall be lined with plastic bags, the outer layer is packed in plastic woven clothes, each bag weighs 25kg.

·       It shall be stored in a cool, dry and shielded place.
