Product overview

        AKD-2000 is a new improved generation sizing agent made from polymer emulsion. Besides the better retention and higher water-insistence,the curing process is also speeded up while the sizing effect is also improved. With better stability and prolonged storage period, it also improved the other related performance of papers. It can be widely used in the sizing process of writing paper, offset printing paper, cardboard paper, corrugated paper,  xerographic paper, copperplate base paper and etc.

Performance characteristics

1.   It makes paper have higher water-resistance and increase the paper curing speed.

2.   It can improve the paper printing ability, increase the retention rate of fines & fillers, decrease the pulp consumption and cost.

3.   It can simplify the sizing process, increase the paper-making capacity of equipment.

4.   The neutral paper-making process decreased the corrosion to equipment so as to extend the service life of the machine. 

Usage tips

·       It can be applied in the pulp whose pH range is between 6 and 9. The pulps include wood pulp, bamboo pulp, secondary pulp from waste paper, strew pulp, reed pulp, cottons stalk pulp and etc.

·       The dosage is 5 kg to 10 kg for each mt of pulp. It is usually added continuously by meter pumps into stuff tank or mixing tank.

·       The equipment and pipes should be cleaned thoroughly if they were used by acidic paper-making. The pulp pH value can be adjusted by adding into a little soda ash or caustic soda.

Packing and storage

·       The product is packed in 200 kg and 1000 kg plastic barrels

·       Storage life: 3 months
